The World Food Programme is a part of the Inter-Agency SAFE Taskforce who are working to bring SAFE initiatives into humaniatarian programing. The following brochure, WFP provides an overview of the issues related to firewood consumption and collection. Fuel-efficient stoves can address a lot of SAFE issues and is therefore a win-win solution. The brochure provides information on the joint initiative between WFP,UNHCR, UNEP and other partners in rolling out a fuel-efficient stove program.
