Project Description

WFP South Sudan implemented SAFE activiites to support displaced populations whom are without cooking supplies, address environmental degradation caused firewood collection and to ensure that people can adequately cook their food and water (reducing water and nutrition concerns). SAFE in South Sudan aimed to provide provide safe methods to cook food to households and schools while similtaniously increase fuel-wood sources. Activities included: community tree nurseries, cookstove distribution and production and training/sensitization on gender for households.
