Project Description

The project helped create a Save80 stove which could be locally produced. This 'Afrah stove' is a metallic, improved stove developed by UNHCR Chad in 2010. The stove has a high acceptance and does not require frequent maintenance. Its average lifetime is 5 years. The project locations were in Am Nabak Camp ID 14, Bredjing Camp ID 7, Djabal Camp ID 12, Farchana Camp ID 8, Gaga Camp ID 9, Goz Amer Camp ID 13, Iridimi Camp ID 15, Kounoungou Camp ID 16, Mile Camp ID 17, Oure Cassoni Camp ID 18, Touloum Camp ID 19, and Treguine Camp ID 10 in Farchana, Goz Beida, Iriba, Chad.
