Project Description

The project had two major objectives: 1) address gender-based violence (GBV) and other related problems faced by refugee women during collection of firewood in the host community areas in Shirkole camp of Sudanese refugees; and 2) promote livelihood activities to address women's access to income for vulnerable refugees and host community members of three Somali Refugee camps in the Somali Region of Ethiopia. The project location was in Benishangul-Gumuz, Somali Region in Ethiopia.
